These are manufacturer recertified drives, which means the manufacturer wipes all SMART data during their refurbishment process.
When we receive and test these drives, we do add some hours to them during our testing process, but these hours are typically minimal. So while the SMART data will show some hours, these reflect our testing rather than the drive's previous operational history.
